Activex For Mac Downloads
I have PowerPoint 2011 for Mac. I purchased a PowerPoint presentation that requires the use of ActiveX. When I try to use the program I get the following warning: This presentation contains ActiveX controls, which will not work in PowerPoint. If you save this presentation, the ActiveX controls will be removed. NOTE: If you are using a Macintosh computer, be aware that Active X is not supported by Mac products. Here are the steps to take to install Active X on your computer: Open Internet Explorer (IE) Look up to the top of your computer screen to the menu bar; Locate a menu bar option labeled 'Tools' and click on it. Mac ActiveX provides a powerful environment for developing interactive and content-rich Web pages. ActiveX on the Macintosh retains much of the ActiveX programming model on the Win32 platform and most features; there are, not surprisingly, some important architectural differences. Download and install the best free apps for ActiveX on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android from CNET Download.com, your trusted source for the top software picks.

Hello,
I have a bit of a problem accessing part of my company's website with my PowerBook. It is a .asp page that has a WYSIWYG .html editor to post news, etc. I know that it requires an ActiveX control that doesn't seem to work properly in Safari. I have tried Netscape and the lame IE for Mac and nothing seems to work.
Is there any tweak or plugin utility that I can add into my browser/s to support ActiveX controls? Or is there a browser for OS X that will work? I don't want to have to use a PC just for this...
Thanks!
